Back in the big red chair

After an amazing few days off, relaxing and spending some proper time with my family, I am now firmly back in the chair and frantically trying to play catch up!

So, what’s new? The much awaited launch of the brand new website for Worthing based hypnotherapy clinic The Hypno Lounge took place, feedback so far has been amazing and our client, Gabi, is delighted with it.

Work has started in earnest on a recent commission  for Petworth FC including the build of their Facebook page and a brand new website. We’re probably more excited to be having our Gab crown on the kits! Watch this space and, if you’re Petworth based and/or a football supporter, please pop over to their Facebook page and give it a like and a share.

The usual social media scheduling and promotion carries on abated, insights are looking good for the clients although there’s always room for improvement so complacency is not an option.

With our tenth wedding anniversary around the corner Mr Gab and I are due to have another couple of days off so it’s (once again) ridiculous hours – good job we love it.

What A Productive Bank Holiday!

After the hectic week last week being a radio celeb (ha ha) work really has taken a back seat – these things can’t last forever so, guess where I’ve been all day? Yup, the Gab chair!

After finishing two websites in the last two weeks – not to mention changing mine for the millionth time I have finally knuckled down to the latest on the screen.

You know where you completely draw a blank? You can’t visualise anything, form any sort of words, nothing! That’s been me – until today – when I’m happy to report that it’s well on it’s way to completion, yay!

For now here’s screenshots of the last two (plus mine) and hopefully the next is soon to be published! Take at look at them in real life! Gift of the Gab Petworth Builders & Roofers and Dog Mind UK

No rest for the wicked, following a new Facebook page launch the new, official home of PFC is ready for design.

On that note – I have to tell you that I’m having a week off, lot’s of family time with Mr Gab and the youngest two before the dreaded start of school. News and photo’s I’m sure will follow. Until the next time!

And we won!

A little bit David & Goliath, the tiny Gab against a mighty corporate company but, in true Gab style, we smashed it!

With our normal up beat (read loud) attitude and the most amazing of teams we not only racked the points up but definitely made good radio too (QG has offered her services).

With the week starting on a high with a 8 to 3 result we carried on and actually won the competition yesterday. Today’s 8 out of 10 and their 7 made the final score 37 to 22.

What a great experience, what a great bonding session and what a great boost for our little Gab empire.

Thank you to ALL of you for your comments, messages, abuse and everything else.

Utterly bonkers!

What an amazing but crazy few days The Gab have been experiencing.

No doubt if you have ‘liked’ us on FB you will be au fait with the goings on – if not then have a read.

So, we have been incredibly excited to be be participating in Spirit FM’s War of the Works this week.

What is it? Basically two Sussex businesses pitted against each other to win pizza. Ridiculous? Hell no! Think of the publicity!

We are facing Tann Westlake in Rustington who are an award winning digital marketing agency (kinda like what we do but with richer clients and posh offices) and, without jinxing it, Team Gab have been beyond awesome so far with scores of 8, 9, 8 so far (obviously it’s Wednesday).

Being part of such an incredible bunch of people is just the absolute best feeling ever. As a pretty much one (wo)man band we have had to call in clients, friends and family and they have certainly stepped up to the challenge.

What will tomorrow’s quiz bring? Certainly more gobbledygook from QG that’s for sure, poor Crouchie will need a holiday once this is over.

Wish us luck and make sure you listen in!

Spirit FM

Today’s the day that we at the Gab take part in Spirit FM’s War of the Works – 10 questions in one minute across 5 days – gulp!!!!!

With a varying team each day including several of our fantastic clients – Bespoke Bakes, K&R Decorators, A D Hicks Carpentry and several other local businesses let’s hope that between us we have the knowledge!

MiniGab is incredibly nervous (as am I to be honest) so roll on 11.45 when the first round will be over.

In other news, the new website for Dog Mind UK in Petersfield is ready to be launched. Work continues on The Hypno Lounge in Worthing and, hopefully, we can make a start on the new, official home of Petworth Football Club and the redesign of J G Jones Groundwork Services.

We’re delighted that the new website for Petworth Builders & Roofers is already getting hits – nothing more exciting than seeing that first job enquiry pinging through!

That’s quite enough name dropping for one morning, please listen in to the show, there’s still time to come and join us.!
