Websites and football

Websites & football, not quite as exciting as beer and football but then this is meant to be a work (ish) blog.

With so much going on, both personally and professionally, we have been somewhat lax in updating the Gab.

So what’s been happening? Well, three new sites have been completed – A D Hicks – carpenters in Essex have a fresh new look as do Mewsbrook Park Cafe with their great Park Life video as the centre piece and K and J Catering completes the trio. All three clients are delighted.

Plenty of social media and SEO work going on including a new client based in Ely, Cambridgeshire and one more locally in Fittleworth, welcome to both and we look forward to gaining good results for you.

In other news, we are delighted to be official sponsors for local football team Petworth FCs under 9s team. The boys look great sporting the Gab crown on their sleeves.

This coming week sees us starting three more websites, details will follow.

Don’t forget, if you want a new website at an affordable rate with not only free domain, 12 months hosting and interest free monthly payment plans but also a 10% discount – all you have to do is visit our website – thegabsussex.co.uk and subscribe to our newsletter to receive your code.

Professional blogging and the emotional side.

Is it acceptable when blogging as a business to make it personal? To expose the person behind the company, to open up and wonder whether it’s too much information?

Honestly? I don’t know.

What is blogging? To my mind an online diary. What would you write in your diary? Usual day to day stuff but on a more intimate level (in my opinion).

I find blogging therapeutic, I love being able to look back on achievements, fails and feelings so why can’t I incorporate that into the Gab? Why not indeed!

So, me being the hot headed Hannah I am just does it. What’s the worst that can happen? I lose potential clientele? Surely they need the personal touch and that involves showing yourself as a human.

I hope my blogs show my passion for the work I do, my struggles when I just can’t get it right, my triumph when it is perfect.

I hope that you reading this will embrace what I’m saying and stand up and be counted as not only amazing business person but also the real you.

Feeling a little jaded!
